On Doodling

In my recent talk at Digpen on Creativity Stop Hallucinating - I explored some ideas on the value of doodling (or low fidelity sketches as I decided to name them).

The views I expressed here were backed up by a reasonable amount of personal experience, and related to a couple of psychology principles that appeared to back up the argument - albeit unvalidated.

I was happy therefore to find this article on the Wall Street Journal The Power of the Doodle: Improve Your Focus and Memory, which supports my ideas and goes into much greater depth as to their value.

Above all it further reinforces the fact that our visual senses are incredibly powerful and whatever field you work in, you can apply creativity and visual thinking to aid memory and generate ideas.

You made it to the bottom! Thanks for reading.
