Towards the end of last year, with my partner Natalie at Bilby Marketing we launched a new company offering bespoke training services helping businesses with their online marketing and website management: Taylor Made Training.
In her role at Bilby Marketing, Natalie manages AdWords, Analytics and other marketing campaigns for several clients - but more recently has been asked by other businesses about providing training to an in-house team.
Plenty of businesses do manage their online marketing in-house - and there are many seminars and training courses set up to cover the various different aspects of Google tools, social media, emarketing and so on - but they are mostly quite generic. The idea with Taylor Made Training is to provide a much more bespoke service.
Training will be one-to-one, or at least very small groups - and actually reviewing and improving the organisations own Google AdWords or Analytics accounts. It provides a much better context to understand the recommendations and should offer much more tangible benefits.
A very enjoyable training session that has focussed us on an achievable marketing strategy. Natalie's enthusiasm and knowledge has been a great help in planning our third year of businessNicola Beglin & Jenny Carter. In Bloom Devon
Taylor Made Training is focussing primarily on website marketing training, which is not really my area of expertise as a UX Designer. Training in HTML, CSS, Sass or Expression Engine is available - but not a focus for the business at the moment. My role has been in devising the branding and design work for Taylor Made, and going forward I'll be focussing on designing supporting documentation and resources to ensure Taylor Made can offer clients the sort of delightful customer experience I believe in.
I had fun developing the branding for Taylor Made. The colour palette is a nod towards Google's own colour scheme for their services which is appropriate. It's also the first site I've made extensive use of Flexbox on - which allowed me to achieve perfect alignment across the coloured grids with different lengths of content.
Please do check out the Taylor Made Training site - and, needless to say please get in contact if you are interested in finding out more about any bespoke training for your company's marketing.
